Ride the future - together!
This also applies in 2024 in our cooperation with racing driver Florian Alt (GER) & Ville Valtonen (FIN).
Not only in lab simulations, but also in real-world tests and experiments under the hardest motorsport conditions: the brehmergroup racing team also tests the parts and components developed by the brehmergroup on Europe’s race tracks. Here in practice, under the most demanding challenges, the components can prove their worth under realistic conditions and relay instant feedback to the driver regarding function, precision, and utility. The raw data from the weekend logged from up to eight hours of racing can be evaluated by the development engineers on Monday, allowing for product improvements.
In past years, this is how the brehmergroup racing team has tested and further qualified various components both in extreme long-distance races as well as sprints over shorter stretches. Whether an automatic gear selector, a ride height sensor or the intelligent „i-Chain“ chain link: the use of these products on the race courses provided valuable insight into the continuation and optimisation of development.
The Formula Student Racing Team from the University of Mittelhessen has also received active support and consultation from brehmergroup for years. www.thm.de/motorsport/
I have been passionate about motorcycling since I was four years old. I have been competing professionally in motorsport for almost 18 years now. Maximising the potential of my bike is my lifeblood. The continuous development of new components is an important responsibility in my profession, and this can be perfectly combined with the brehmergroup.
Florian AltFlorian Alt
Florian is once again taking part in the International German Motorcycle Championship (IDM) and the Endurance World Championship (EWC) this year, riding the newly developed Honda CBR1000RR-R.
Florian secured the German championship title in the IDM last year for the Holzhauer Racing Promotion team, after 13 years without a title for Honda.
In the World Endurance Championship, he celebrated his first success with the brand new Honda at the legendary Bol d'Or together with his long-standing French team VILTAIS Racing.
The connection between brehmergroup and Florian Alt was established on the race track, where new components for the further development of the motorbike were tested. This collaboration has been in place since 2021 and exciting joint projects are in the starting blocks.
brehmermechatronics and Florian Alt got to know each other on the race track, where new elements for the further development of the motorbike were tested.
Team spirit - passion - quality are the values that unite us.

The goal should and must always be a victory... If this is not possible (sooner or later), why should you do it?
Ville ValtonenVille Valtonen
"So for the 2024 season we are racing in the Spanish ESBK championship with Team Sensetec. We use the latest BMW M 1000 RR models as bikes and also our little team also has now second rider, so our team is a bit different and, dare I say, stronger this year. Results have been getting better and better, especially this year, and we feel good how things are going.
In our calendar for 2024 are a few selected rounds of the IRRC (road racing championship), some Finnish championship races and perhaps a wildcard race in IDM, if all stars line up, as they say.
My connection with brehmergroup has now gone on for several years, and despite corona world changing our original plans, we have been very lucky and happy to continue with this company.
Seeing firsthand the quality and commitment they make towards product development was nothing short of impressive, as my last visit was to the new facility they've built.
We plan to push on for new limits, and I believe both parties share the same philosophy of constant development and strive for perfection along the way. For us, it’s a great honour to represent such a strong brand and working culture.
In racing, we believe the best is still in front of us, and the brehmergroup as a company certainly seems to think the same."

THM Motorsport at the Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen (THM)
THM Motorsport is the racing team at the Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen. It is an international design competition which involves the design and manufacture of a racing motorcycle. brehmergroup supports the THM Motorsport Team and of course we wish every success!
THE BREHMERGROUP RACING TEAM
The brehmergroup racing team was founded in 2011 with the goal of shortening our development periods. Further, our team over past years has regularly placed well in the Rheinoldus Long Distance Cup.
HEIGHT SENSOR
The development of a touch and contactless height sensor has made advances in the field of racing. The plan envisages launching an initial small batch in 2022 and selling it to other racing teams.
