Motorsport

Not only in lab simulations, but also in real-world tests and experiments under the hardest motorsport conditions: the brehmermechatronics racing team also tests the parts and components developed by brehmermechatronics on Europe’s race tracks. Here in practice, under the most demanding challenges, the components can prove their worth under realistic conditions and relay instant feedback to the driver regarding function, precision, and utility. The raw data from the weekend logged from up to eight hours of racing can be evaluated by the development engineers on Monday, allowing for product improvements.

In past years, this is how the brehmermechatronics racing team has tested and further qualified various components both in extreme long-distance races as well as sprints over shorter stretches. Whether automated gear selection, ride height, or the intelligent i-Chain: use of these products on the race courses provided valuable insight into the continuation and optimisation of development.

The Formula Student Racing Team from the University of Mittelhessen has also received active support and consultation from brehmermechatronics for years. www.thm.de/motorsport/

Ville Valtonen

The goal should and must always be a victory... If this is not possible (sooner or later), why should you do it?

Ville Valtonen

Ville Valtonen

During the last test drive in Almería (Spain) at the beginning of the year we got into conversation with Ville.

Ville Valtonen Nickname: Valdo PP
Born: 1983, Kotka Finland
Hobbies: motocross, cycling, mountain biking, ice hockey, American football and golf tours.

We at brehmermechatronics have decided to support Ville in his future. Thus we can test our products beside our own Racing Team (BRT) still in the team of Ville. This will lead to even more results in the future for our projects/prototypes "contactless height sensor" / "grip heating" / "intelligent chain link" / "clutch cover with integrated sensor" and many more.

We are looking forward to a partnership with Ville and wish all the best for the upcoming events.

Upcoming dates for Ville and the Ville Valtonen Racing Team:

Finnish championship:
01-02.8 Alastaro
15-16.8 Motopark
19-20.9 Auto24Ring

Alpe Adria international championship:
24-26.7 Pannonia ring
04-06.9 Grobnik
16-18.10 Cremona circuit

Unfortunately the endurance races are both cancelled:
Endurance World championships:
29-30.8 Le Mans 24 Heures
19-20.9 Bol D`or 24 Heures

Florian Alt

THE BREHMERMECHATRONICS RACING TEAM

The brehmermechatronics racing team was founded in 2011 with the goal of shortening our development periods. Further, our team over past years has regularly placed well in the Rheinoldus Long Distance Cup.

HEIGHT SENSOR

The development of a touch and contactless height sensor has made advances in the field of racing. The plan envisages launching an initial small batch in 2022 and selling it to other racing teams.
