brehmergroup wins innovation award at the EKTT

At this year’s EKTT, the brehmergroup was awarded the BARLOG Plastics GmbH Innovation Prize for a technical paper.

The award-winning paper, entitled: “Magnetised plastics in mechatronic components – reduction of installation space and cost optimisation through functional integration”, demonstrates in a practical manner how new solutions in mechatronics can be realised through the targeted use of innovative materials and manufacturing processes.
 
The focus was particularly on:

• Functional integration through magnetised plastics
• Reduction of installation space and number of components
• Optimisation of costs and assembly processes
• Transfer to industrial series applications
